Greeterbot is an instance of IBM Watson set up as an experiment / art project and is not configured to record any Personal Information.

He does record conversations for the purpose of learning how to communicate better, but there is no Personally Identifiable Information (PII) collected.

His primary purpose is to learn to converse. He conveys information and does not collect it.

Chat Bot Terms of Service

Anyone using Greeterbot accepts that he is extremely limited in his usefulness.

We make no promises on the utility of the bot and have no expectations of users of the bot.

We do realize that this may be extremely frustrating for some (most) users, which is why he is configured to want to be helpful and may apologize when he feels he’s offended you.

The objectives of this policy are

• To clarify what exactly is up with the robot on the website
• To fulfill the policy requirements for deployment of our chat bot on other platforms
  (Facebook / Twitter / etc.)
